FIRE & FOREST DEFENSE FOR UKRAINE

SUPPORT FIREFRONT’S WORK IN Ukraine DIRECTLY

Your support helps strengthen wildfire resilience and emergency response capacity in Ukraine where it is urgently needed. FireFront is a U.S.-based nonprofit led by experienced wildfire professionals, delivering practical training, operational support, and critical field capabilities to communities and responders operating in high-risk environments.

Our team works directly with local partners in Ukraine, ensuring support is applied where it has immediate effect. There are no intermediary layers or distant aid pipelines. Contributions are directed straight into on-the-ground programs that build real capability, improve safety, and support long-term resilience in fire-affected and conflict-impacted landscapes.

Fire & Forest Defense Initiative UKRAINE

(FFDI-UKR)

FFDI-UKR is FireFront Foundation’s flagship operational framework in Ukraine. It integrates capacity building, applied technology, and field-level support to improve wildfire response and long-term resilience.

Training & Methodology Development

Field-based training for firefighters and land managers focused on modern wildfire tactics, safety, and operations in complex, high-risk environments.

Technology Development and Integration

Responsible deployment of mapping, sensing, and robotic tools to reduce firefighter exposure, improve situational awareness, and support safer decision-making.

Operational and Program Level Support

Targeted support for emergency response capacity, including vehicles, equipment, and mission-specific deployments aligned with partner needs.

FROM IDENTIFIED NEED TO OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY

FireFront Foundation supports partners across the full project lifecycle, from early concept through field implementation and evaluation. Our role is to align resources, expertise, and execution pathways while reinforcing local leadership and ownership.

Operations are structured to deliver immediate risk reduction while building durable, scalable capacity that remains in place beyond individual engagements.

Stand With Ukraine’s FIREFIGHTERS

FireFront Foundation exists to turn identified needs into operational reality. When firefighters and land managers face new risks, limited resources, or unsafe conditions, we help close the gap between what is needed and what is available.

Your support delivers hands-on training, field-ready tools, and durable capacity for those protecting lives, forests, and communities in the most challenging environments.

Advancing Global Wildfire Resilience

FireFront Foundation acts as a global connector linking technology innovators, government agencies, NGOs, and private partners to accelerate wildfire resilience projects. The Foundation’s first flagship initiative, FFDI-UKR (Fire & Forest Defense IIInitiative Ukraine), brings together Ukrainian and international technology developers and international fire experts to create autonomous systems for fighting fires and restoring forests in areas contaminated by landmines and unexploded ordnance.
